Dr Zieve evaluated my case, then took it to the round table of integrative oncologists who pointed out that there were over 300 different types of DCIS and that mine was a bad one. Over the course of the next two weeks at the clinic, I met with a nutritionist and had 4 colonics. I also had infusions of IV vitamin C, B17 shots, ultraviolet blood irradiation and ozone treatments to the blood. My blood was tested and evaluated. I was put on an intense level of supplements and daily smoothie. In my spare time I went to a local place for infrared saunas. I also went to a local dentist and had my amalgam fillings replaced. Although I did wind up having surgery to remove one breast, I'm happy to say the DCIS stayed contained and did not spread anywhere else in my body. I was not faced with the need for further treatment. I would describe my surgery as successful in more than one way. My recovery was smooth and I was up and walking the halls of the hospital on very the same day as surgery. I believe the detoxification, IV's and dietary changes set me up for a successful recovery. After my two weeks of treatments, I left feeling I had done something really good for myself. I was treated with great care by Dr. Zieve and all his staff.
If you are dealing with a degenerative condition, then consider having Dr. Zieve on your medical team to provide an additional perspective from the integrative and functional medicine points of view. He has been most helpful for providing referrals to specialists and recommending natural resources to support the treatments of my primary care physician and my oncologist.
I'm so lucky and grateful that I found Dr. Zieve for my cancer treatment. I met him at the end of 2018, about a month after I was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. He consulted with me on herbal supplements and nutrition to help heal my stomach, but also taught me about the use of IV mistletoe and high dose vitamin C. I started his regimen immediately, concurrently with chemotherapy. At my next CT scan, my oncologist literally said my results were "amazing." Almost all traces of cancer were gone, and my results since then have been unchanged. With just traditional chemotherapy, my prognosis was not good.
